A digital version of the classic Mastermind game. You have to guess the hidden code using a combination of colors and logic – a real logic challenge.
The classic logic puzzle game is reimagined – with colors, tactics, and a strictly limited number of attempts. It tests not only your logic, but also your patience and strategic thinking.
Type: digital logic and problem-solving game
Target group: primary school children, older children
Recommended age group: 7+
Playing time: 10–15 minutes / round
Operating logic
The goal of the game is for the player to guess the secret color sequence , which is randomly generated by the machine – in the fewest attempts possible. The secret code consists of 4 different or repeating colors (depending on the setting).
The player places their guess by selecting a color and filling in the blanks . In each row, they must select exactly 4 colors from the given palette. Then they can validate their attempt by clicking the "Place a guess" button.
The system provides two types of feedback:
- Green : both color and position are correct
- Yellow : the color is correct, but in the wrong position
The player has 5 attempts to solve the secret code. After each round, they receive a new line where they can improve their guess based on previous feedback.
What does the Color Code Decoding game develop?
This game is an excellent brain trainer and especially works on the following skills:
